Good to see that they're doing that sort of testing but with these publications to me its always a concern of how bias they might be just so they don't look bad in Ford's eyes. For that reason I will be looking forward to what real owners have to say because to me that holds far more value than what any publication can provide us with.

Here's a long term one from FourWheeler: Long-Term Test: Second Report, 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor SuperCab This seems to be update number two out of four and they're using it to haul remodeling supplies, seems to get the job done.

That does speak to what the F150 does overall and when you just think about it as an F150...its a no brainier. Coming from an F150 the wider fenders might take some getting used to when parking close to objects but aside from that its the same livable recipe.

The Raptor is just the better all rounder because its full-size 35-inch BFG A-T KO2 wheels are more than enough to withstand whatever potholes the roads can throw at it, soaks them up even. The performance suspension certainly helps with that as well.

It sure does but even with how capable it is we should still be cautious over pot holes because they can do damage over time. Of course that depends on the type of pot hole and so on. Some pot holes are so bad that no amount of regular off roading is as bad.

If you've every wondered how the F-150 Raptor would do on narrow UK roads, someone from AutoCar took the liberty to find out. As expected, it's a tight squeeze, but the fund more than makes up for it and the pickup can simply roll over everything in its way. An interesting read if you have the time.

There's already quite a few videos out on YouTube that review the 2018 model. I usually prefer owner reviews as opposed to those written by publications, as I find them to be a little more genuine. https://youtu.be/1cyIqPl5aRw

He got around 500 miles on the first tank of gas, which is pretty good for what the Raptor is, even mentions that you can either use regular or premium because the engine adjusts itself for each fuel type. So premium for off-roading and regular for road trips.

I discovered that a number of people moving from SUV's to Pick-Up's have said similar things, and there's a growing amount of them on the market. Couldn't be better time to bring back the Ranger.
