Well if it's anything like 2015, Ford will start taking orders on MY2017 trucks in July/August. That doen't mean dealers won't let us put our names/deposit down earlier just that they won't go into the Ford system until that point...

Dealer doesn't know anything more than you or me. Probably less.

It'll likely stay that way until order sheets are released.

Careful with deposits etc as I saw many dealers screw over people previously. We have a thread on FRF for dealers where people were able to purchase at invoice if you all are interested in locating a dealer willing to play ball and not pay mark up. Driving or flying to pick up a truck you save 10g's on is cost effective.

My dealer called me last week and said he found where he could build one on the ford network. It seemed like a bit of a waste of time. No pricing and no pics. Also he said it would be a available in Ruby Red again (nothing I've seen says that'll be an option.) I have another dealer in WA. that says they are still ordering 2016 f-150's so I could be another 3-4 months until 2017 order banks open. So who knows. I almost test drove the Shelby F-150 they had on the lot, but my wife would of killed me driving home in that. Sitting in it was bad enough.
