Perhaps you’ve just purchased a new Ford F-150 Raptor but need a bit of instruction to wring the most out of your machine while off-roading. That’s where Ford’s Raptor Assault program comes in and it’s free for 2017 Raptor owners.
An exclusive opportunity offered to 2017 Raptor owners only, the Raptor Assault program will take place at the Ford Performance Racing School in Grantsville, Utah. Founded in 2006, the Ford Performance Racing School employs a team of experienced racers with years of experience under their belts and maybe even a few championships as well.
The program will begin this spring and run from April through November.
Learners will start the day in a classroom setting, learning the finer points of the F-150 Raptor’s six driving modes before being released for a day of driving.
Sitting in a school provided Raptor, students will receive professional training from instructors in controlled off-road environments to hone those rock crawling, Baja running, high-speed driving, side-hilling, descending and braking skills. Ford will even provide the necessary safety gear, breakfast and lunch. All you have to do is make your own travel and lodging arrangements.
for this one day program has already begun and if one day of off-roading fun isn’t enough, Ford is offering a second day of tutelage in a track-ready Mustang GT for a discounted price.
