Maybe 511 HP?

Just thought I would post this up, info is from a buddy that works for Ford. No hard facts, just what appears to be the goal HP for the truck, but that could/can change. With all the high HP engines FP has been turning out this wouldn't surprise me. Plus it would go a long way to silence Gen1 naysayers. Im not sure how others feel, but moving into the 500hp range would def up the lust factor for me!

Don't feel bad. If the street queen you are wanting is 500 hp +, then that's great. See you in the dirt? Probably not, so a mute argument anyway.

That's IF you even buy one......

It would come down to suspension regardless, 500HP+ on dirt is all well and good, if you're suspension can't keep up, good luck.

Well he did say the goal hp is 511, doesn't mean that's going to happen.

The "buddy" working "for Ford" doesn't really inspire me, but 511 horsepower sounds plenty reasonable. Most magazines were already speculating at least 450. With a factory twin-turbocharged application it is very easy to make power. This will come from the same platform on the new Ford GT which is slated for over 600 horsepower, some speculating over 700. Over 500 horsepower would make big headlines, which is really the whole point of this truck.

And you just gotta laugh at the old guys who say THAT'S TOO MUCH POWER and all that BS.

Well, if we're going to speculate, lets guess at 650 hp then. I mean, it's unrealistic, but who gives a ****, right? And the guys saying too much power are the same ones that said it doesn't matter how much power you got, if the suspension can't handle it, it's wasted. Unless it's all street queen talk, then it's almost relevant.......
