siezn Seen it and always liked the idea. During a point that Hennessy ruined their image it might be what draws in some big ticket clients. However, its hard to get over how badly they operate.

Jhett I mean Hennessey has shown off their 6x6 Velocipator project, and that thing is pretty crazy looking. From what I remember it has something like 600+hp and is said to have a starting price of more than $300k.

siezn They're not but brands often build cars entirely just to showcase a brand. Much like what goes on at SEMA so it won't be completely out of the norm.
It can be said what they did here did little if anything for brand image.

Holland Toyo Tires isn't a tuning company, so I wouldn't have expected them to make any significant changes in relation to powertrain. I do agree that Ford needs to expand its performance options for the Raptor, but we'll have to wait for a company like Roush or Hennessey to get their hands on it.

Its just that the same money put into these visual mods could be put into the kind of performance upgrades that create something to the effect of a trim above the Raptor.
There are always restrictions placed on production vehicles, the right mods can do a lot for a product like this.

I agree.

To me its always better to do what already complements what a vehicle was built for.
In this case I rather slam a mustang on air bag coil overs so come time to do time attack racing i have all the control and coolness required

Jhett I actually kind of dig the look, though I wonder what impact the dropped suspension has had on towing and payload capacity. Love how wide those tires are, and they fit perfectly with the Raptors aggressive styling.

Slammed Raptor shown off in Tokyo

Now I know most Raptor owners/enthusiasts will find this a little blasphemous, but I just had to share it. Not only has the Raptor been dropped significantly, but it also features a widebody kit. I have to say that I do really like the wheel/tire set up on this model, though I don't think the Raptor needs to be any wider than it already is. It was made by the folks over at Pandem, to advertise new Toyo Tires at the 2018 Tokyo Auto Salon.
