siezn It might be even worth calling up Ford customer service and seeing what information they can pull that will confirm your order. Maybe there's some cue that them and the dealer has access to.

Keep us posted, odds are someone made a mistakes somewhere.

StrikerHawk If your VIN begins with 1FTFW1RG0....you should be good to go. The W1R is what signifies RAPTOR. I'm not exactly sure what the G0 signifies, and it could, I guess, be something different. The last 8 digits of the VIN are the sequence number, simply what sequential number you were assigned the VIN, not necessarily what sequential number you got built.
If you don't have the W1R in your VIN, someone made a mistake somewhere.

JRRaptor2017 When I check the VIN# provided by my dealer It comes up as Ford Explorer instead of the Raptor I ordered, dealer says they have the order right ! Any ideas ?

StrikerHawk Just got a text message from my dealer saying ""We are expecting the OK To Buy on or about the 16th."


There's no guarantee that the information will turn out to be true, but it's the first time they've provided me with that particular data point, so perhaps there's been some flow of information out into the dealer network.


Take it for what it's worth and don't bet the farm on it.
