Jurassic If it was the only truck to compete, what kind of obstacles did it have to get through to scare other trucks away?

siezn Ford has been lessening their disappointments lately and it seems when it comes to models like this they don't play, just look how the current Raptor turned out and other Ford Performance models, it's quite the change from what we were once used to from them. If the Raptor is what they're saying its going to be like, the wait will be worth it.

lol better late than never at least I hope you're catching onto to something and making the necessary improvements for the final production

maybe that's why it stands out and not much competitors to this..

Craigy Well when half the field fails to finish, finishing is a big deal.

Only truck to compete in its class is also a pretty big deal, if nobody else thinks they can do it.

simspt So misleading to the general public that doesn't know the racing environment. The truck didn't win ****.....it ran by itself.......true no other production trucks had anything to compete with the raptor but thats a far cry from "winning" or coming in first in any sport......

2014RubyRed Yay - I won. Or did I beat myself? Wait, I think I was the first truck to finish in my class. Of one.......

Where's my trophy?

Jurassic Nice! I guess the other trucks broke down along the way or something along those lines and the F150 Raptor took it like a champ. And it still looks good as new except for the dirt but that adds character.

Now owners will know what the F150 Raptor is capable of and get out there worry free.

GOGO F150 Raptors!

"There was only one stock truck that finished this year’s Mint 400 race. That truck was the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor. Foutz Motorsports drivers Greg Foutz and Tim Casey were the drivers of this Fords truck, and in being the only stock truck to finish the event, they won their class. Their Raptor was the only competitor in the factory stock production full-size class and is powered by Ford’s 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine that is all new and improved for the 2017 model year. Backing up this new powerplant was Ford’s new 10-speed transmission."

Pretty awesome eh?
