siezn I can't imagine it lasting too long with how much hype there is around these Raptors and the amount of people interested in them.

siezn With the new Raptor i'm sure Hennessy performance will get their hands on one, there's just no way they will miss out especially when they've already done a lot to the first generation. Who knows, they might get it up to the 700hp range and torque should be right around that.

SDHQ's Ecoboost Raptor

Yes it’s not the newest 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost but it does show you the tuning potential that the new Ecoboost engine has.

Super Duty Headquarters (SDHQ) took the liberty of creating the first EcoBoost Raptor after finding out that Ford won’t be offering it back in 2012 and it outstripped the 2012 6.2-liter V8. Sure the stock 6.2 V8 had better specs with 411 horsepower and 434 lb-ft of torque compared to the 3.5 liter v6 EcoBoost’s 365 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque but the EcoBoost will hit peak horsepower at 5,000 RPM, 500 less than the 6.2's 5,500 and max torque will be reached at just 2,500 RPM compared to the V8’s 4,500 RPM.

You may lose 14 lb-ft of torque but you’ll hit full power 2,000 RPMs sooner and this is just the stock engine. After SDHQ was done with it, the 3.5-liter was dishing out 410 horsepower and around 500 lb-ft of torque.

That is what SDHQ was able to accomplish with a Superchips tuner and an AFE cat back exhaust. Imagine if something similar was done to the new 2017 EcoBoost Raptor’s already impressive 450hp. You could potentially get just under 500hp if not more with the new EcoBoost twin-turbo V6.
