Greetings from LA

I'm planning to buy a new Raptor, but first of all, I want to learn more about it and see what people think. I'm sure that this car is amazing, however, it's always nice to do a little research before purchasing something.

Cheers.

Welcome to the forum.

What exactly are you looking to learn here about the Raptor?
Do you have experience with the last generation Raptor?

Well, first of all, I would love to know how reliable this car is in different fields. I think the best way to get this information is to talk to car enthusiast on the forum.

I've never had an experience with Raptor before, however, I've been driving 2008 Ford F-150 for a while.

What are you referring to when you say "in different fields"
Reliability is reliability, unless of course you are pushing it hard onto baja competition levels then you might be in for some disappointment.

That shouldn't be too hard then because the current Raptor is similar to the previous one so there's already a lot of information to go off of. Where have you looked so far for feedback on reliability? Since you brought it up, why are you so interested in reliability? Is there something you heard about the Raptor or with Ford that the rest of us should be concerned with?

I've heard some negative reviews about Raptor's transmission. Do you have any knowledge about those problems?

All I know is most owners going through transmission problems are experiencing the similar hard shifting and sometimes no shift. Sadly it seems that Ford has no level of quality control even on a flagship product like this.
