Tuned To Gain 59.39 horsepower

Yup, Matt Alderman at ID Motorsports tuned a 2017 F-150 Raptor's ecoboost engine to add on 59.39 horsepower and 82.47 lb-ft of torque. THat's with a Stage 1 SCT custom tune and you can see the dyno chart below.

Got to love how nicely the curve continues on an incline even after 3000RPM. Being a truck I will be driving around the city a lot and on local roads outside of the city this will really help in making it much more enjoyable.

The custom calibrated Raptor picked up some peak power and torque as well as some across the curve gains. Even part-throttle tip-in is improved and it's easier to spin those tires.

Depending on what the changes are like when actually behind the wheel, getting stickier tires might be the way to go to maintain the performance we got when this came stock. Not everyone wants to burn rubber so easily but are more in it for power and control.

To each their own when it comes to tire spin, some may enjoy it and some may want as much traction off-road as possible though you will need to be more aware of how much pressure you're putting on the gas pedal depending on the throttle tip-in.
