Suspension Flex Battle: 2016 Ram Power Wagon vs. Ford Raptor [Video]

Quote:
The Power Wagon is a heavy duty off-road truck with a solid front axle and disconnect-able front sway bar. The Ford Raptor is a half-ton off-road truck with independent front suspension. Which can flex more? We find out with this ramp measurement.

Just a 7 inch difference, not that much and most people won't even need to flex their trucks that much.

To some people testing that gets that extreme matters since it shows what these are like put in the most extreme conditions, giving them a wider threshold of abuse to put it through. So put that way it does matter.

I guess it's down to where you plan to bring the Raptor and what conditions the roads are in. If you're going on rocky trails then yea, the flex is important.

Guys that were jumping these easily discovered how quickly things can go downhill and really mess up. This time around they should be better off but on the plus side it didn't in any way tap into sales. Just look at how many of them you see on the street as daily drivers.

Articulation really isn't the forte of these trucks.

It really isn't but there is that group of guys that will always attempt it. I think it was most common in the middle east, but to them these are like Geo Metro's
