Drone Footage Of 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor Taking On Sand Dunes

New footage of the Raptor hitting the dunes!

Quote:
Ford continues to test its all-new 2017 F-150 Raptor on rough terrains, with the latest drone footage showing the performance truck tackling sand dunes at Silver Lake, Michigan.

During the test that took place this summer, Ford used an engineering prototype of the all-new 2017 F-150 Raptor fitted with redesigned, larger FOX Racing Shox with more suspension travel and all-new terrain management technology.

Thanks to these features, Ford says the new F-150 Raptor can tackle the toughest of surfaces. The available Torsen front differential enhances off-road capability further by increasing grip for the front end of the truck and allowing it to pull itself over obstacles and up steep grades even when traction is split between the front tires.

The all-new 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor is powered by an all-new 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine with as-yet-unspecified ratings. The new performance truck will go on sale in fall 2016 in the United States.

Looks pretty cool...too bad we couldn't get a little taste of sound from the exhaust. I'm sure Ford is working on that too.

True!

That's more than likely a good representation of it since I highly doubt it will sound much different.
