siezn was looking around for kits some time back and I seen that Serious HP carried one although right now the listing is gone.
mustang guys are also into this stuff, so that should help in expanding our availability.

Holland Welcome to the forum, and congrats on the new Raptor. Still haven't heard anything in regards to a conversion kit, as I don't know how much demand there is for it as of yet.

Mathieu Hi guys

I'm new on this forum and I also look for this kind of information.
I just got a couple of weeks ago my Raptor in France. That's a fucking great machine.

Does anyone get some news about a E85 conversion kit?
As said Elcoyote74, I think also that a sensor to check the ratio of mix should be the best.

Dino Anytime you're looking for more power you'd definitely run into reliability issues here and there but depending on how good your tuner is, you probably don't have anything to worry about at all.

siezn I see that a lot of guys warn against it. One of the big draw downs apparently is that it cuts down on your engines life span and thats just in the long term. Short term you can see issues with reliability.

kiethgould did you convert your Raptor for Ethanol if so how did you do it?

Dino Personally haven't had bad experiences. The only time I've seen people with bad experiences is when the tune was a mess. I think the second option for you would be better though because real time will be able to adjust to any variable change.

ElCoyote74 Thanks already for your replies.

The point is that I have two differents approaches suggested. One concerns only software parameters adaptation, which sounds in my opinion to re-setup the injection based on a E85 only for instance, which sounds static. The other option is to install a box which analyses the mix in the tank and adapt the software parameters in real-time. The last option sounds more coherent but I'm still not convinced about the engine durability due to the ethanol explosion and transport in the tubes in comparaison with standard octane which is less corosive.

Did anyone have bad experience using E85 in a F-150? Did you just fill in the tank in E85 or used some extra box tuning?

Dino I think these days it's not even necessary to change out the lines and filters. Heard the tune is all you need to "fix"

Best thing to do is take it to your local tuner and see what they say

Jeff It may be beyond just re-programming. A re-program will be necessary, but you may also need to change fuel lines and filters perhaps. After tuning it, you should be able to make more power from a tune than you can on 91 octane I think
